Rita Desnoyers-Garcia has been helping women unlock their true potential for over 30 years. With a B.A. in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and an MSSW from Columbia University, she specializes in supporting professional moms who want balance at home and success at work but struggle with stress and overwhelm. Through simple yet powerful strategies, Rita helps them create harmony in their parenting, marriage, career, and health. She is the author of The Self-Compassion Project, a stand-up comedy enthusiast, and teaches moms to use humor as a tool for joy. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and three children.

Through simple exercises, reframes, prompts, and group sharing, you’ll learn how to uncover hidden gems of humor in even the most chaotic situations. This isn’t about ignoring your emotions or glossing over difficulties, it’s about opening up new perspectives that release tension, spark laughter, and bring relief to your mind, body, and spirit.
