The invitation is to BE for the 5 days that you will participate in this retreat and watch your soul come alive. That said, here are some suggested items that might make your stay comfortable:

Q: Is this retreat for me, even if I've never done inner work before?

Yes - willingness matters more than experience. This is intentionally not a beginner "relaxation" retreat, though. Come ready to be moved, to ask questions, and to dig.

 

Q: I'm nervous to come alone, will I know anyone?

Most guests come solo. The entry ritual is designed so everyone starts together as there's a built-in camaraderie from the very first evening. If you'd like to bring a guest, to share a room with, please let us know. 

 

Logistics:

Q: What airport do I fly into, and is transportation included?

You will need to arrange your flight into San José (SJO), but I will send you some suggestions in a few days. We will arrange ground transportation for everyone from SJO to the Villa in Dominicalito, and back, as a group. Please note that it is your responsibility to be available for the shuttle times and you will need to arrange your own transportation if you miss the shuttle times. We will email you details in the next few weeks.

Q: Will we leave the property much?

For the most part, no. We will stay on property and go to the beach (5 min drive) and possibly a waterfall hike (weather permitting). The whole experience is designed around the villa itself: the infinity pool, heated hot tub, covered BBQ and dining area, the new covered yoga space, and the fire pit. there will also be some free time during the retreat, if you choose to explore nearby places on your own. taxis are available to take you to the downtown area. 

 

Q: What are the room options?

A limited number of king rooms are available to share (2 guests per room). Space is intentionally small to keep the group intimate.

Q: Who will I be paired with? 

You will be assigned a partner who will be perfect for you in every way possible. How do we know? Remember, this is an intuitively guided retreat. Trust your intuition to know who to pair you with. :)

 

Q: What if I have dietary restrictions?

Meals will be plant-based/ vegetarian (Not Vegan) mostly. Our private chef prepares 3 meal daily on-site and can accommodate most allergies and dietary needs just let us know in advance.

 

Q: Will there be alcohol at this retreat? 

No this is a sober experience. We want you to check- in with yourself, the ocean, the sun and the natural habitat around and not check-out.

Retreat Fees & Booking:

Q: What's the early bird pricing and when does it end?

Early bird is $1,000 off the paid-in-full rate - $2,299 for a shared king, $4,939 for a solo king - available through July 1st.

​

Q: What's the cancellation policy?

Full refund through August 1.

50% refund from August 1 to September 1.

No refund after September 1.

​

Q: Can someone else take my spot if I can't go?

Yes - transfers are allowed anytime for a $100 administrative fee. We'll also personally help you find a replacement, and we keep a waitlist of interested people ready to step in.

Q: What is the "Aligned Warrior: Rewrite the Story" theme about?

The retreat is built around:

  • Becoming aware of the old story you've been telling yourself (Day 2),

  • Owning and digging into where that story came from (Day 3), and

  • Rewriting a new story into something new (Day 4)

based on the arc explored in my upcoming book "The Aligned Warrior: Stop Chasing and Start Attracting the Life you Deeply Desire."

Q: Do I have to share everything in group circles?

No. Share as much or as little as feels right to you. We encourage participation in the safe container and the more you open up the more you get. the key is to honor your truth. What's asked of you is presence and openness, not performance.
